CIara Bennett - Clark

Welcome—I’m so grateful you’re here and exploring all that Empress Stables and Sanctuary has to offer. This farm is the result of years of vision, hard work, and deep love, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

My name is Ciara Bennett-Clark. I’m a professional equestrian and coach, but more than anything, I’m a lifelong horsewoman. Horses have been at the center of my world for as long as I can remember. Most of my life has been devoted to the discipline of competitive dressage, where I’ve earned my USDF Bronze Medal and am proudly working toward my Silver.

I began as a working student at age eleven, became a barn coordinator as soon as I was legally able to work, and have since had the privilege of learning from many accomplished riders—including my time with Lendon Gray’s Emerging Athletes Program. These experiences have shaped me not only as a rider but as a person.

Most days, you’ll find me with the horses—training, learning, growing (and yes, shoveling plenty of poop). I’m currently pursuing my certification in Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) through The HERD Institute, a path that aligns beautifully with my belief that horses are our Wordless Teachers. They have an innate wisdom that speaks beyond language, and I feel called to help others experience the lessons they offer.

Through my own journey, I’ve come to understand that horsemanship is more about being than doing. Slowing down, truly listening to the horse, and letting go of performance-driven mindsets have transformed not just my riding, but my life. Horses have taught me to look inward, to be present, and to lead with authenticity.

This farm is my heart. These horses are my soul. And connecting with you—sharing this sanctuary, this way of being—is my greatest joy. Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to meet you
